The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack here of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage developed for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to help the servicing of all buyers and increase use of Social Assistance solutions,” the sassa agency said.
